It is a big folder best suited for big hands. The folks at Lansky put a lot of thought into this well made knife built like a tank ! It was hair popping sharp out of the box, locks up solid. It does not have a spring assist opener but within two Min. I was opening it by a slight flip of my wrist. Come to think of it you can open it with the flipper or the thumb stud or by the hole in the blade. The only draw back i can think of if your a hiker an count ounces... It reminds me of holding a roll of quarters, weight wise.

Changing the pocket clip on the Responder X9:

  1. Use the small flathead screwdriver on your Lansky 20-Function Multi-Tool to remove the clip from its original position.
  2. Select desired clip location.
  3. Place a small amount of thread-locking adhesive in the new location.
  4. Position the clip in the new location and adjust the screw until a secure, snug fit is reached.
  5. Set aside. Thread-locking adhesive should set in about 10 minutes and will be fully cured in 24 hours.
